This designation recognizes TTI as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco WiMAX solutions.

Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), is a telecommunications technology that provides wireless transmission of data using a variety of transmission modes, from point-to-multipoint links to portable and fully mobile internet access. Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking, offers a roster of WiMAX products and solutions aimed at transforming how people connect, communicate and collaborate.

To qualify for Cisco WiMAX ATP status, Trends & Technologies had to meet a number of requirements, which included a comprehensive experience in selling, installing, commissioning, and deploying WiMAX solutions, a good understanding of the WiMAX architecture, including the various supported profiles, and capable staff that can fulfill specific job responsibilities.

The Cisco Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Program is part of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy for emerging technologies. The program helps Cisco to define the knowledge, skills and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy and support an emerging technology.
