Hasan Fard
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

A native of Iran, Mr. Fard went to the Philippines to study Electronics and Communications Engineering. He graduated in 1985 at the University of Santo Tomas. He eventually made his home here and pursued a career in I.T. after some stints in retail and electronics services.

In 1989, Mr. Fard became the Assistant Vice President for Administration, Sales, and Operations for a local Systems Integrator. In 1993 he, together with seven Engineers, founded Trends & Technologies, Inc. (TTI). He lead the team as the President and Chief Executive Officer, and presently chairs Trends and Technologies Holding, Inc (TTHI).

Rosauro L. Mangaser
Vice Chairman and COO

Prior to Trends & Technologies, Mr. Mangaser worked as the Sales and Marketing Manager of Advanced Communications Systems International from 1987 – 1992. He became the Director of Sales of Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993 and subsequently the President and C.E.O. of the structured cabling affiliate Technologies Specialist, Inc. (TSI) upon its founding on 1996. He is now the Vice Chairman and Chief Operations Officer of TTHI.

Jose Daniel L. Balajadia
Director

From a clerical position at Sandiganbayan in 1989, Mr. Balajadia became an Account Manager with ADCOMS International, Inc. in 1990 before transferring to Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993. His sales and marketing area of responsibility until 1998 was the Telecommunications Business Unit that was previously called Access Products Division. He became a Vice President in 1999, overseeing the entire corporate sales activity. In 2000 he headed planning activities for Trends.Net, a company conceptualized to become a value-added service provider with outsourced call center service provisioning capability. When the holding company had a change of plan, he became the President of the software affiliate Logic Solutions, Inc. (LSI) in 2001 until it was merged with TTI in 2003. Mr. Balajadia managed the Financial Services Group until 2007. In 2008 he managed both the Call Center Group and Trends’ operations in Visayas and Mindanao. He is currently the Director for Sales and Brand Marketing responsible for both account management and products and solutions management covering five business units nationwide.

Renan B. Velonza
Director

Prior to becoming an Account Manager of ADCOMS International in 1992, Mr. Velonza had stints as an Instructor at Trace Computer College in 1990 and Computer Engineer in Saztec Philippines in 1991. He joined Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993 and his sales and marketing area of responsibility was the LAN Internetworking Business Unit. He became a Vice President in 1999, overseeing the entire corporate marketing activity. He was the President of TTI from 2000 until the consolidation of the various affiliate companies in April 2003. Mr. Velonza lead the Enterprise Business and Call Center Group until 2007; he currently heads the Professional Services Group(PSG). At present, he is also working on his Masters in Business Administration at Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business.

Alfredo C. Hilario, Jr.
Director

Mr. Hilario started as a technical support engineer for ADCOMS International, Inc. in 1989 before moving to sales three years later. He transferred to Trends and Technologies, Inc. in 1993 where he managed both technical support and logistics operations up until the establishment of the structured cabling affiliate Technologies Specialist, Inc. (TSI) in 1996. Mr. Hilario initially handled sales before eventually becoming Vice President – Operations of the new company. He became the President of the metal-based manufacturing affiliate, Telecraft Services Corp. (TSC) upon its establishment in 2000. In 2008, Mr. Hilario heads the Customer Care Group.

Benjie L. Alvarez
Director

Mr. Alvarez started his professional career as a Technical Support Engineer of ADCOMS International, Inc. in 1990. He transferred to Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993 where, after a brief stint in sales, he assumed a supervisory position for LAN Internetworking technical support. This culminated to an Assistant Vice President rank in 1999. In 2000 he was involved with planning activities for Trends.Net, a company conceptualized to become a value-added service provider with outsource call center service provisioning capability. When the holding company had a change of plan, he became the Vice President – Operations of the software affiliate Logic Solutions, Inc. (LSI) in 2001 until it was merged with TTI in 2003. Mr. Alvarez currently heads the Software Services and Applications Group.

Erwin S. Menor
Director

Mr. Menor started as a Technical Support Engineer of ADCOMS International, Inc. in 1990 prior to becoming a Technical Support Supervisor for Access Products of Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1993. This culminated to an Assistant Vice President rank in 1999. He became the President of the technical support professional services affiliate Trends & Technologies Services and Maintenance, Inc. (TTSMI) in 2000 until its consolidation with Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in April 2003. At present, Mr. Menor currently heads the Implementation Group.

Joseph M. Perez
Director

Mr. Perez started his I.T. Account Management career in 1991 with Satelcom Corp. He held similar positions in two other I.T. equipment distribution companies before assuming a management position for Trends and Technologies, Inc. (TTI) in 1995. His area of responsibility was the sales activities primarily to telecommunications companies until 1998 when he became an Assistant Vice President. In 1999 his sales area of responsibility expanded to include all other vertical markets. He became a Vice President in 2000 and held that position until the consolidation of the various affiliate companies in April 2003, when he co-headed the Service Provider Group. He currently heads Technologies Specialist, Inc.(TSI), an affiliate company.
